Took my Dad an hour to teach it to me, took me a few hundred miles to become proficient (meaning no stalls and smooth upsifts and downshifts). I should have been able to do it faster, but teaching the leg to do what my hand did for motorcycles was annoying. I’ve been driving stick for about 53,000+ miles (3 years) now.
