Try to sell your maxima private party. You always get jipped trading it in. You could maybe get another $2k if you sell it. Personally I think it is worth the work. Just figure, you spend a total of 15 hours to sell the car(including posting site, meeting with people, etc). That is $133.33 an hour. More than worth it.

Put it up on craiglist.org. I sold my Maxima the day I put it up. Within 5 hours I had the money and a down payment for my G.

+1 on Craigslist I sold my miata in 2 weeks which is a good turn around. However you might have a hard time since the Maxima is on it's second engine and all the error codes...

really dont want to sell it to a private party as its nothing but issues; would rather hand it off to a stealership because as we all know; most of them are crooks.

id feel to bad selling someone a car that will get them 50 miles away and the abs, srs, and cel will pop on; where as the dealer would probilly just send it to auction.

Good point. I think it is in your best interest to go with the dealer. You do not want to put up with the buyer and all the problems.
Thanks!

I have to agree in this case. Most of the time I hate trading in cars but I would feel too bad giving that to someone without telling them all about it.
