Great sightseeing today

In my part of the world, (my commute is all highway from Ft. Lauderdale to West Palm Beach), I hardly see any G's on the road, sometimes days will go by without a single sighting.

But today, I left work, and on my way to pick up my car from the dealer this afternoon, (map light assembly needed changing, it was loose), I saw 2 G sedans, 2 G coupes, and 1 Zcar, all going my way, so I played follow the leader for quite a while. But I was so pissed, I was in a loaner I35 and that thing wallows like Lincoln and the torque steer was pulling the steering wheel out of my hands!

But anyway, I first passed the sedans, a red and a black, the red looked cool. Then a DG coupe passed me when I had slowed to about 70, I caught up to him and followed him at 80mph or so. Then we caught up with a red coupe...those two coupes started playing tag for about 10 miles or so, flirting with the 90/100 mph mark,... all I could do was try to play catch up....and drool. They must have known each other because they took the same exit off the highway.

When I thought that was the end of the excitement, a silver Z flies past with a Bonneville doing his darnedest to catch up. The road wasn't packed but there were enough cars to prevent any racing. The Zdriver looked like a guy in his 50's but he drove like he was in his young 20's.

Damn! I wish I had my G today, I could have had some fun playing follow-the-leader instead of playing catch-up!

Disclaimer: although the driving was agressive, the drivers were keeping it relatively safe. They/we weren't cutting off or tailgating other drivers, and we were letting each other pass in front of us regularly (I was basically stuck behind permanently in the I35).

And just when I thought I had seen the best the day had to offer, I check G35driver and see djrezin's post! My eyes had all kinds of food today!

I see G in the bay area but it seems that no one will even look at you. As if their's is better and you suck. I hate that $hit. I am glad your day was filled with great sites!

Give the guy a break! Just so I'm certain I know what you're talking about, I'm going to have to go back and see the pics (again). You know, just to be sure. Uhh, man, for some reason, I have to revisit those pics several times. My eyes must be fading! How are your old eyes doing GSM? Do you find that you have to 'revisit' the pics more than usual?
