WRECKED after 5 days of ownership

Well guys, I now have my first story to share............

I took delivery of my 05 G Sedan last thursday and had a great weekend driving my first tank of gas out of it. Yesterday, on my way to pick up my son from school, I take the long way into the city and hit one of the cruiser spots that was pretty packed since it was almost 70 degrees here in St Louis. Long story short, I'm at a stop light, light turns green, I move forward to make a right hand turn, lady jumps out into cross walk, I slow down to let her get past so I can make right turn, guy behind me NEVER stops!! Damage to bumper is pretty bad so at the LEAST i"ll be getting a new bumper and hardware underneath.

My question is do you think I should stick the the OEM bumper and paint or go for an aftermarket rear and paint? I may go ahead and have a few rock chips in front bumper painted as well and also pick up a front "lip" if it will fit in the budget. Suggestions or welcome.....

there are not many good looking rear bumpers available on the market.

I say go with OEM and get a lip for front and rear.

All the rears for the sedan arent very attractive IMO... i'd just get an OEM rear bumper from an 03-04 and put the Nismo (Aero) lip on it and get a front lip to match.

That sucks, but I wouldn't call it wrecked. I thought you totaled your car at first.

Seek diminished value too.

The car wouldn't look right with an aftermarket bumper and a stock front and side skirts.

the guy was doing about 30mph and braking right before impact. I was sitting still so he pushed me into intersection.
