Well, heres the thing. I ilde on irc.efnet.net 99.9% of the day, even when I'm not here. I've noticed the one thing this board lacks is real time chat, so, Ive decided to see the interest in fixing that. Im currently going to be running a channel on Efnet. For all of you who use IRC, the channel is #InfinityG35 for all of you that dont, if you would like to have help setting this up, or your just curious as to information/turnout you can catch me on aim: Xtreme03S10 or just read up the www.mirc.com website.

Any comments/suggestions/ideas would be appreciated, and I will also be posting this in the Coupe section.

Cool, no prob. I was watching Speedvision the other day, and this guy was guessing people's cars based on their personalities... on the side of the screen, it showed three cars that could be theirs, and THEY misspelled Infiniti! I sat there staring at it for a while, as these people do this for a living and still couldn't get it. Odd...

Well, so far after a few hours in operation, we have 2 users, myself and my channel bot. I have also recieved numerous IM's about help for setting up AIM. Ill try to add everyone that messages me while I'm out and catch you at a later time, but for the most part, everything you need to know about mIRC can be found at the website www.mirc.com. Hopefully we can get a nice channel going, and it doesn't mean you have to talk all the time, I leave IRC open 24/7...and there actually is "channel control" as opposed to AIM's bland channels. Thanks all whove IM'ed me, joined the channel or shown some interest already, hopefully Ill be able to get a sticky put up about this in the Off Topic section soon.

You got an EFnet server that doesn't require IDENT, my firewall blocks ident requests.

 

see, i dont find anything weird about people constantly misspelling inifniti... it was their choice to take a word, and change its everyday spelling... i did the same thing with my nick, and most people who refer to me, do so as Zodiac. car brand or not, its natural for a person to type infinity vs. infiniti i think. took me 10 mins to find the company website when i started considering the car and i couldnt understand what i was doing wrong till i realized i'm putting a y instead of an i at the end...
