my 5AT takes forever to downshift.....hope that helps it.

What the dealer serviced department failed to inform you of is:
The “updates” have microwaves that transfers proton density in the cerebral vortex to a simulation of kinetic energy – this is triggered by sensations derived while spirited driving… when you are relaxed the cranial nerves are somewhat sedate and the sensation of “luxury” shift is achieved (some of us refer as “granny mode”)… when you are “in the zone” and highly alert during spirited drives, the neurons fire more rapidly and thus the feeling of performance shift is experienced.
This is old technology but new to automotive – and as much garble as I could muster…

But they will only flash to Nissan published programs, no customizing.
As far as the TS reflashes, I believe Tadashi numbers his reflash a higher ver.# than Nissan would ever go to, so when the dealer checks it shows it's up to date and no ECU reflash is needed. Therefore, the dealer would not overwrite TS ECU changes unless they forced a lower version on (which most would never do)
^^ statement is for ECU, not TCU flashes.
