LED License Plate Lights-Need Your Opinion.

Ok I want to swap out my yellow license plate lights for some LED's, they go for about 10 bucks on EBAY. I have 8300HID Headlights, so I was wondering if I'm better off going with a Xenon White bulbs for the license plate, or a Ultra blue light for the license plate, which will look better and for anyone who has this installed is the Ultra Blue too Blue for 8300's or is it just right, I really don't want it too look super blue in the back, might look kind of ricer.

Any opinions will help.
Thanks,
3Point

Thats what I was thinking, but will it make it look off since there is a hint of blue in 8300HID headlights?

And should I buy these on ebay or can I find these at any local car shop???

I got 8000K HID's and I got these. Match well all around....

http://stores.ebay.com/warden-jp2002

I got the very blue ones for my daytime running bulbs in my head lights (i have 8000K in both the heads and fogs) and it gives a cool look. However I have the white ones from that guy on ebay in my license plate

Thanks, that helped, I knew that blue was toooo blue, way too much attention, the whites simply will compliment and blend in a bit more.

I dont understand why you would spend more moneyon LED's that might not be that great. check out v-leds.com or superbrightleds.com, both are very popular here although v-leds.com is known for being a little more expensive with slightly better quality led's. oh and i would suggest "cool white" or "xenon white" because blue will get you pulled over.

yeah I was going through the same thing when deciding on them. No problem. Here is what I used...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2pcs-...0654QQtcZphoto (for my side markers)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2pcs-...9342QQtcZphoto (in my daytime running lights in headlights)

http://cgi.ebay.com/2pcs-T10-W5W-168-194-Clear-LED-Xenon-White-Wedge-Bulb_W0QQitemZ320228096388QQihZ011QQcategoryZ42613QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem (my license plate)

Buy from him. Cheap and they last a very long time. I don't seem any signs of dimming or burning out. I've had them since August and they are going strong. Take a little time to ship since it's from Hong Kong. However, can't beat the price!

buying from v-leds or superbright is more expensive than this guy from Ebay. And these ebay lights are lasting longer than any other LED's I have had in the car

seem good. I would suggest getting them from warden being that I know a couple people using them and love them myself. However, get what you want. If it burns out, just get other ones. It's not that big of an investment ya know?

I've ordered from waren_jp, my one side marker LED started blinking (going bad)n after 5 months. It could be a bad batch. My other LED's (parking, licence, trunk) seem to be all working well so far.

^Mine did that in my driver side headlight once but it just came loose. I put it back and it's fine. All my other lights I got from him are looking flawless

Damn your car looks sick!

but about the LED's, I think freak has a point, there so cheap that it doesn't matter, if they burn in 6 months I'll spend another 5-10 bucks on them, its not worth ordering or paying a lot for quality when it is such a replaceable product.

+1! Don't get me wrong v-leds and others are great.... but the ones from warden won me over mainly because they are bright, last long, and cheap. I've had them in since August and have yet to have a problem with them
