yes, as soon as I saw it sitting in the trunk I realized it was a seal, figured it was for the taillight and was a little miffed that they left in off (and ripped it)... not to mention that they rinsed the taillights (with it off)...

I need to order a new one, just need to know what side it is... the pic g35freak86 helps a lot, I just need to confirm the pic is pass or drvr side… I think it’s passenger?...

That looks like it is the driver side light. Look at how the inner left side of it. It gets bigger as it goes down.
Oh ****, yes that is definitely the driver side light. Look at the turn signal bulb. It is at the top.

It will probably come in a set (two seals).

You got nothing to worry about OC...you live in sunny southern Cali...I think it rains 2 days a year there right?

You'll have to garage it and never wash it

funny guy

I just looks at the FSM... as it turns out it doesn’t matter which side (because I’m replacing all of them) FSM says it can’t be re-used... they are designed to be replace when the assembly is removed... I realize it's not 100% necessary - however I'm buying new ones and installing all of them (including reverse lights) to be on the safe side.

Thanks for all the help guys.

tails are $15.xx each, reverse lights are $12.xx each... I'm getting all 4 - $50-something...

It's not really necessary to replace unless they've been removed before...

I suppose if enough people want to replace we could see about a discount... when I ordered they asked if I was a shop - I guess I should have said yes.
