Just got her back after 4 days at the stealership. Infiniti just changed
all 4 doors on my 03 sedan, there was small surface rust on the rear
door pillars, and they said it fell under a 10 year warrantee. I guess
they are in my good books for now, so for all you guys that see some rust
bring it in..

The guy who gave me the loaner said I was about the 12th car.
You won't see anything in a pic, the car is black,they said they replaced the outer shell but its the same inside panel. Seems there is an issue with water penetration. If memory serves me right my built date is Nov 02. They removed
the rubber on the top of the doors and took some pics and that is what got
the ball rolling..

I have rust on the two driver's side door pillars of my IP 03 Sedan. The local Infinti guys won't do anything until it rusts THROUGH(!) per the warantee. Obviously, that's total crap. I'll try to get some pictures up.

So how do I go above the dealership to a district rep or corporate for this?

 

Photos attached show rust on inside of each driver's side door at B pillar. A very small amount of bubbling is visible on the outside, but that doesn't photograph well.

 

what States are you guys in with the rush?

 

I'm in Montreal, I brought it to one dealer and was told bring it back
in 2-3 months when there are holes and we will change the doors. Not happy with that I decided to take it to another dealer actually where I bought the car and they scheduled me 5 weeks later to change the doors.

Anybody know how long before
I can get some wax protection on her.

The car spent the first half of its life in Detroit, MI.

 

After at least 2 years of arguing, Infiniti finally fixed the car. Suburban Infiniti in Novi, MI was never terribly cooperative. After about 1 year of discussion Cochran Infiniti in Pittsburgh approved the repairs. North Houston Infiniti did the work. Thanks to the helpful and damn the rest to hell.

All four doors were replaced - they did a nice job on the paint and the color match is good for IP. Tenacity pays off...

 

suburban infiniti in michigan is whack period... my pillars near the windshield has a lil rust spot and all they told me to do was touch it up. pansies...

 

Mine has little spots by the rear doors. I assume thats not covered.
