ADDING Dual climate control button

Ok yesterday i went with my neighbors to help look for a 04 g35 sedan and they have the dual climate control button and I was pissed because that is a nice option. I have a 03.5 sedan was that a change in 04 and if so I wanted to ad it to my car what would I need to make it work. thanks

I'd assume you dont have premium package on your car since they did have that for 03.5 sedans as well. I'm not sure if you can add that to non-premium sedans by simply switching the HVOC controls...

the premium package came with the auto headlights, homelink system on the mirrors, auto enter and exit assist on seats...memory seats.....rear reclinable seats...dual climate control as you mentioned....and....i dont know what else i'm missing

You will need to sell your car and buy one with it. It is not an option you can just retrofit into your car...

Well you could but it will cost you a ton of money and time.

I agree. I had it on both my previous cars and never used it. Its just as easy to adjust the vents.

its a cool feature that you don't use much, like heated seats and navigation.

I use my heated seats all the time (In upstate NY)
and my nav comes in handy
use them both way more than I use my dual climate control

but yeah, doesn't seem like something you can just swap out

Agreed. I think I've used it three times in the past 3 years. The car is too small on the inside to necessitate the need for this system.

I use dual climate control all the time (when I have passengers). It's annoying when they complain about temp, I just tell them to manage their side.

IMHO, I would NOT try to retrofit this. I installed a climatronic system in one of my old cars that switched all of the temp/fan/directional ***** to just a clean panel with buttons. It was purely aesthetic.

It took me nearly 2 months to get it in at a rate of 10hrs a week. I'D NEVER DO IT AGAIN.
