Ok. That explains it since I see you moving the wheel on the video. Otherwise, 19 seconds to 100mph...even a Civic or Corolla might be able to eat you for lunch.

I just wanna revisit this and say A+ again.

68_GT, do you think this is feasable with a car that already has a space saver style spare?

I had installed the coupe midpipe few days ago.i was happy with it but still want lil bit more louder like coupe one. So i picked $20 coupe muffler n ready to install it. Wish me luck .hopely everything goes well without do cutting my spare well.

Ps : i got $20 too for coupe midpipe .

Thank to 86 GT for the experiment n idea. Good job 86 GT

Did you ever finish this project?
If so, how did it turn out?

it's paired up with a coupe midpipe so it sounds exactly like a stock G coupe or Z. It's quieter than my OEM sedan muffler was with the coupe midpipe on. Sounds pretty sweet but wish it was louder. May look at adding some HFC's later and go for this sound http://youtube.com/watch?v=oZwi5s78n2g

gotta get the bugs out of this first. Not saying I'm going to keep this, and I think it still could be adjusted to look a little better for what it is. I think the tips should be more tucked up under the car and not at a slight downward angle but that can be fixed. I'm actually planning to cut off the 4in tips and run the outlet pipes a little farther left and right and weld on some nice dual tips comeing straight out the back. Of course cut another notch on the pass side of the rear nismo underspoiler just like the one on the drivers side and have two tips on each side of the car. Not sure about everything yet and I'm not 100% sold on this even if the cosmetic adjustments are made so all comments are welcome

How far up does the coupe muffler pertrude into the spare tire well?

Would it be possible to move that floor up a couple inches without cutting or even move the muffler down a little bit?

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
OP hasn't been on Driver in over 3 years. Probably won't answer your questions here like he didn't last year.
