WOW!!! $110 for debadging?!?! just do it yourself man, Cali sun is hot enough to just peel it off with your nails. I just yanked mine off and cleaned the remaining gunk with rubbing alcohol.... Although I decided to leave the INFINITI letters on~

i would NEVER EVER use rubbing alcohol on the paint.....

use goo gone.......and just buff with your hands after, all you need is some elbow grease....

I'll do it for you if you pay me gas + lunch.... what part of OC?

it didn't have any negative affects... did the job and took off all the gunk... and i washed it off to make sure it didn't dry on the paint~ i've read couple other members who did the same as well~

I debadged mine in about 20 min using a hard dryer, floss, and some goo gone. I finished it up with some quick detailer and it looks great.

WTF is this post a joke....?

Castleman, had you done a search you would have realized you don't need a
heat gun or hair dryer. All the information you'll ever need is found under our
search page....how to's and how not to's!

JUST TRY THE SEARCH BUTTON ONCE

wow

now take a deep breath - 13 posts I think you could give him some slack

Castleman just pull them off with your fingernails and clean it up. Dont plan to remove the Infiniti symbol on the trunk lid though it will leave holes.

you are not the first to have run into this problem, here is a link to help

https://g35driver.com/forums/interior-exterior/201378-how-remove-infinti-g35-off-trunk.html

if you have a sedan the MT Fuji will leave holes, so you might want to leave it, it's up to you.

regarding the emblem holes...

I have been debadged with emblem only - it looks odd to me because it sits too high on the trunk... I have inverted with the letters covering the holes and the emblem below - this looks subtly unique and seems to flow with the lines of the trunk (width of letter equaling wide part of trunk and narrower emblem equally narrower bottom portion of trunk)...

But now I'm going to take letters off again and reposition emblem lower so that the top portion is covering the holes and the emblem overall is more centered on trunk and won’t look so odd sitting up high.

Just thought I'd share my variations - since everyone keeps mentioning the holes... they don’t have to be a hindrance... they are really only an issue if you want the entire trunk lid bare.
