Okay I got my car back last week and today I decided to install some stuff. My small question is when I was about to change the air filter I noticed that two parts of the airbox were not aligned dead on. I figured prolly mess up from the last time someone changed the filter. Figured id fix it while I was installing the z tube and changing the filter. Now after getting the ztube in, I decided to tackle the misaligned box. No matter how i budged it it does not a line up dead on. The right side of the box is overflowing a bit not much but a bit. Enough to leave a very small gap on the left side. Now I tried budging both pieces and the closer piece to the bumper will not move to the left and the piece attached to the ztube and is bolted down will not move to the right whatsoever. I figured maybe it was the ztube causing a problem. So i removed the tube and I still could not get it to match up and if it did match up the bolt hole would not match up. Any ideas?


Opinion question is this:

I have the full 05-06 tails. Now my biggest gripe about the 03-04 lights was the reverse part but I actually like the sides more then the 05. Now I was going to just replace the reverse but I thought it would look funny therefore I got all the pieces. Now that I have just the reverse ones on it doesn't look bad at all imo. What do you guys think should i just keep as is and sell of the sides or swap the sides as well.

 

i'm having trouble understanding the description, post a pic of the problem. Not sure how the z-tube might get in the way....

Edit: I'm also going to just change out my 04 reverse to 05's. I like the brake lights the way it is~

 

1. Replace your airbox with a Pop charger
2. It's up to you, only you can say what tail light configuration you like.

 

i had the 03/04 tails on and 05/06 reverse lights for a bit. It's different and looks nice. I ended up changing over to the full 05/06 set though. However, I would keep the 2 sets. If you get tired of one look, just change things around. Mix and match. I plan on doing the same if I get tired of the setup... here's a pic..
