I agree the other person is 100% at fault, but strange things can happen when you have a modified car... for the OP's sake I hope it's not an issue

OP, it would be in your best interest to have this car totalled out. it will never drive the same again . I am just advising you to monitor yourself for the next few days for any sign of pain or sore in your neck areas. these kind of accidents usually cause neck injuries that may not show up till a day or two later.

lol bro...let me break it down to you.....

rear frame has severe damage, both rear quarter panels replaced and painted, rear bumper, rear trunk lid, rear wheel well, most likely all the suspension components is shot along with the rear sub frame

few grand ......I bet you labor alone is over 10,000

Insurance companies generally total a vehicle at 70-80% of its market value.

2006 G35 w/premium = around $25,000 (conservatively).

It would require $17,500-$20,000 worth of damage for the insurance company to total that car. You really think the damage will be over $17,500?

It's not totalled.

Obviously the driver in the back was not paying attention.. If this happened in the day time then you should really worry about the tinted tails.. Still though I would peel those off ASAP

Damn man I feel your pain. I got loads of *** holes in the country who don't even have driver's licenses let alone know when to start breaking. I've seen soo many rear ends being smashed I'm just waiting for my time to come. Hope you get it sorted soon buddy, and good to see you're ok

almost 5 weeks of repairing and 12,800 dollars in damage. I got it back and it looks perfect. It drives just as good as before also. The only problem i had was with the gas fill but that was fixed after the service engine soon came on twice. Ill post pictures when i get home, im at infiniti now in there lobby waiting for my new brake pads. lol
