I got a loaner?!

Heres what happpened to me today. I went to lunch with my wife off base. Afterwards

we got in the car and to my suprise my seat belt wouldnt come out. So I lowered the

shoulder adjustment and to give it more slack and it retracked even more. So I figured

maybe it was a child saftey lock on the seatbelt but why on the drivers seat? Well it still

wouldnt come out. WTF!!!!? Wow!!!!! After dropping off my wife at her job I sat in the

parking lot on the phone. I called the Infiniti dealer in Atlanta Ga and they are replacing

it for free! WOW!!!! Did I mention that my warranty has expired? Well I called my unit and

reported what was going on, because no one car drive onto post without going through

the gate. That would get me a ticket. After informing the dealer about this they also

loaned me a 2008 Infiniti G35 sedan. I must say I miss my Nav, stereo, tint, HP, exhaust,

and suspension. I will tell you though that I am very impressed with this loaner car!

Im already getting hooked on it. Can you believe I was thinking of all the mods I could

do to it while I was driving it home? LOL! HMMMMMMM? Trade in? HMMMMMMMM?

I didn't know that either!

I have had an 07 loaner. If I could move all or most of my mods over... I would!

^ ditto, why even think of that, think of that extra trade in $$$ that you would have to pay, and put into your 04.

imho 04 sedan > 05+ coupe or sedan!!!!!!!

im not bias

okay I lied, it wasn't lifetime, but rather it was unlimited miles but 10 years... it was from a carfax report that I pulled that had detailed warranty information.

Still pretty good info nontheless

note: Infiniti updated the corrosion warranty from 7 to 10 years (84 to 120 months), carfax didn't update their information

same problem here with a loaner... the car is at the dealer overnight, i'm driving 07 G35 sedan journey + navi + premium = very nice... love the navi, love bluetooth and all the convenience options. dunno what to do - don't want to sell my car, but don't want to let this loaner go either.

2nd gen sedans are just so butt ugly, it doesnt seem worth it!

^^ as far as money goes I have to agree with you. I dont think the new sedans are ugly though. I have seen some on here that look hawt enough to make me want to trade up. I saw one with lowered with 22s on, as weird as that sounds it looked Hawt!

Oh and Codeflux, why do you have to rub it in huh? I think I got a basic loaner here................

I had the 08 as a loaner for a few days. Personally, I think it had its ups and downs. I like the previous generation better looks-wise, both inside and out. I do like the extra HP gain on the new gen and you can DEFINITELY feel it. I don't like the gas pedal though, how it's all the way on the floor, was odd at first. I found the audio have much more bass than my Bose, but didn't get quite as loud. Great vehicle, but I'd probably stick with 06 and older.

I got my 03 back yesterday and I found myself realizing that the pedal seems softer than the 08. Anyone else notice that? Also I think I will bleed my brakes this weekend mine seems softer than the loaner I used. Oh well more to do I guess.

PS I am doing a mod this weekend..........hehehehe!

Dunno but back in 2000-2001 I had a old 91 SE-R that the seat belt wouldn't work anymore, it wasn't pulling back. All I did was ask how much a replacement would be, and they said free! hehehe!
