PS I am doing a mod this weekend..........hehehehe!
I noticed that as well. The gas pedal was VERY stiff on the 08. And the brakes on them seemed a bit better, more responsive.

Originally I went to look at an 06x that was at my local Infinit dealer, but after looking in both, the 08 interior won hands down. Then there was the test drive, again the 08 beat the 06 down. In the end, I was after the performance and the 08 got the nod.

I've not really noticed the stiff pedal on my 08. I'll have to hop in the Tacoma tonight to compare.

I found the interior of the newer models to be not as great. The double din is great, but I dont like the bump on each of the buttons in the newer ones. Also, I may be biased because my vehicle has tint and my 08 loaner didn't, which I think adds a lot and has an affect on the interior. I dont know if it was just my loaner, but the sunroof did not go all the way back either.
