SWEETTALKER DIY: So you want to GTSPEC your sedan?

Well since many sedan owners are always asking if g35 coupe/350z GTSPEC stuff will fit, here is the final answer :

GTS-SUS-1088 GTSPEC 350Z / G35 Rear Lateral Arm Brace
YES !!

GTS-SUS-1086 GTSPEC Front Lower Tie Brace For 350Z / G35
YES !!

GTS-SUS-1087 GTSPEC Rear Tie Brace For 350Z / G35
YES !!

GTS-SUS-1073 GTSPEC Type D Front Strut Brace For 350Z
NO !!

GTS-SUS-1131 GT SPEC 4 Point Mid Chassis Reinforcement Brace For 350Z/G35 Coupe
NO WAY !!

Here is the DIY of how to install on a sedan.

WARNING: the washers that gtspec sent me wasn't even close to fitting on the stock bolts so go buy yourself some washers that will fit before you start on this. Or have a buddy with another car be around so you won't have to put the car on jacks, then put it down only to put it back up again.

Make sure you use a breaker bar beause using regular socket wrenches might break them since the bolt/nuts are on there pretty tight.

The front

The rears

Enjoy !!

To be honest, I don't notice a HUGE amount but the improvement is definately apparent. Especially when you are going up/down a driveway or a curb where your chassis and suspension twist/flex you can definately feel an improvement there.

And yes, AWD was not put into consideration (i apologize) since there are more RWD than AWD and I only have experience with the RWD. Sorry for the confusion

Looks like you dont have sway bars? those help a lot also and i think combined with GTspec bars would be huge improvment over stock!!

Thanks for the DIY.

We already knew what parts would fit the sedan. DaMayor tried them all a long time ago and told us so I added it to the FAQ.

Sucks because most of these will fit my car. The front is blocked by my oil pan spacer and greddy oil pan. rears are blocked by my exhaust.

Oh oops hey so, the bar gets in the way with the oil pan? I am going to be installing my greddy oil pan soon, would it not fit?

It should be ok if you just put the Greddy oil pan on. I also have a spacer. The AAM spacer has the return lines to help the oil get back in faster for better cooling so I plugged the Greddy pan ports.

Do you have a pic of the front bar with your oil pan? I bet we can decide from that.

So you are going Greddy TT? Are you going to change your front end for better air flow?

Could not agree more.

DaMayor was trying to get GTSpec to do it but I think he stopped dealing with them.
