Re: tru dual !!!!!!!!!!!!!
the only reason that i didnt go with the stillen or any other exhaust is that i wanted to do my own thing or better yet do something original for the g35 sedan im very satisfied with my exhaust souds good a little loud but im still in break in process. not to be rude about stillen its just that they advertise more hp than what the product really puts out.

That looks nice and I'm sure sounds a lot nicer (get some audio clips on here when you can!) but do you feel like you've lost some torque with that setup? I'd be real interested in seeing some dyno numbers on it.
...Of course, who cares about dyno when you're driving around sounding like a cat-free Cobra (one of the nicest sounding cars on the street, IMO)

Re: tru dual !!!!!!!!!!!!!
first of all, i'd like to remind you that this post is about a CUSTOM DUAL EXHAUST for a g35 sedan, which is actually a dual exhaust, looks good, I'm sure sounds great, and eliminates the exhaust gas turbulance that plagues single outlet (muffler or H or X crossovers) V engine exhaust systems.
Stillen is not "True Dual" - its dual piping into a single muffler . . which, if I'm not mistaken, is the same as the oem system. And on top of that, how do they really expect people to believe an exhaust system alone could possibly make 20 rwhp in a naturally aspirated situation?
congrats to rijen for keepin' it real . . .

hksjza70,
"... and eliminates the exhaust gas turbulance that plagues single outlet (muffler or H or X crossovers) V engine exhaust systems."
An interesting analysis and conclusion. It's certainly different than what others, myself included, have learned about the x-pipe's effects on exhaust gas scavenging and cylinder charging.
I suggest those who would like additional information check out the following....
