remote tricks

Re: remote tricks
I think it's an American v. Japanese thing. Our Jeep does the pull-the-handle-and-it-unlocks thing, too. My last car (Honda Accord) didn't do anything with the locks. But I did have an aftermarket alarm installed that locked the doors when you started the car, and unlocked them when you shut it off. So, we could probably add this feature to a G35 for a couple hundred.. just an alarm, don't install the siren or starter interrupt or blinky light, and put it into permanent valet mode.

Re: remote tricks
I swear I could design the perfect car but putting together all the good features of various manufacturers. They all seem to do different things better than each other. Like on my SHO...it had that keypad on the door. A little thing but I used it a lot. You could lock your keys in the car, leave it running, whatever, no problem. The SHO seat controls were great. On the left side (WHERE THEY"RE SUPPOSED TO BE) and they had more adjustments. Of course Infiniti does many many things better than ford. Like you're not constantly fixing their cars....
I dont know why the manufacturers feel the need to be different on some things. I rode in some shitbox way back. It was new and had hand crank windows...Well everyone knows that you crank counter clockwise to roll the window down. They did it backwards. Why? Idiots.

The winter package has nothing to do with it. If you have the premium package, you'll get all four windows instead of just the front two going down, though.
Like Pesti said, hold the unlock button for 3-5 seconds to start, then keep holding until they're all the way down.
