Sedan Performance Suspension Question
I have the revised z shocks and springs on mine. I have been really happy with the ride and spent less than $200 for them. My biggest complaint was the bouncyness of the rear but the higher spring rates of the z springs seems to have fixed that. I had the sport suspension so just the rears really changed but that was enough to make me happy.

Tough out the setup you have right now until you have the extra $500+ to get basics or flexs. I've run Eibach prokits and Eibach Sportlines on OEM Sport suspension... when I go the prokits I liked the look but it as you know is quite jarring on bumps / RR tracks. Sportlines were no better, but loved the lower look.
When I got the Flex coilovers I was like, "FRACK!!! I shoulda just done this in the first place!"
Save the extra couple of bills, sell your springs. Let me know if you are interested and I'll get you a hook up.

I'm still on OEM non-sport shocks, so it would be time for new anyway... I was thinking decent struts would help... but since you've gone the exact same route already I guess I'll reconsider my plan... I'll give you a call about that "hook up" - thanks

That's crazy, don't know what other options I have, that's why I'm glad the OP started this thread cuz I may find new ideas or answers from others.
well i paid about 400-450 for the back koni yellows, then i bought a set of front stock shocks for 150 for both. then after koni was done with them, i paid almost 900+shipping to get them back reworked.
sucks for me now though, one of my custom koni's started to leak fluid when i was putting in my H&R's =( so now i'm back on stock shocks for the fronts and debating to send my koni's back to get re-worked or wait if the coilovers ever come out.

So sedan guys – I’m trying to slow down on the expense of my addiction (need to start doing more engine stuff soon, so want to be budget conscious for a change)…
I’m currently on Eibach Pros with stock non-sport shocks… I realize coilovers is the best choice (but not the most economical)… So I’m considering performance oriented struts… Tokico D-Spec? KYB? Other?… Good shocks to use with the Eibachs... I’m looking for good cornering handling with reasonable ride comfort…
Vlad? Tim? What do you guys suggest?… What are you on and have had and would you recommend?… And any others that have performance suspension.
I really want to button up all this ancillary stuff and get back to HP & TRQ!

The stock non-sport shocks wouldn't even be adequate for the oem sport/coupe/Z springs much less a stiffer spring like the eibach?
I grab a set of D-specs used and see how you like them. I'm on Konis(Z/coupe springs) and are very happy with them. Big difference in shock stiffness inbetween the Konis (even at their softer settings) then the oem non-sports.
I don't plan on raising/lowering the car, I don't want it any lower and I don't want the hassle/cost of camber correction. I'm also happy with the very moderate increase in spring stiffness these provide vs non-sport oem springs. I also won't track the car either. But I'd still have a problem if I did because I'm not sure I'd be willing to daily drive with a spring stiffness a tracked car requires. Regardless of how soft I could dial back the shocks.

Jeff, I've been on Eibach with non sport shocks for nearly 2 years... I don’t know where you get the idea that "The stock non-sport shocks wouldn't even be adequate for the oem sport/coupe/Z springs much less a stiffer spring like the eibach?"... Eibach designed the Pro springs from a non-sport sedan
Anyway - I have a completely different setup, desire and need that your car... thanks anyway.

okay, i'll add my 2cents... i've been dropped on H&R's for almost a yr now and it's not too bad w/the OEM non-sport shocks & struts(speed bumps are quite the ordeal though). with that being said, imma upgrade to the Tokico HP shocks & struts for the 350Z. i wanted the Koni's for the longest time BUT i don't really need adjustable one's.

Okay, good luck with whatever setup you decide on.
I still suggest the Tokicos like the other gentleman suggested. Not sure how the (apparently) softer Eibachs will pair with any track intentions you might have.
