Site mods; please keep here, as it is 03-06 sedan specific… I researched in suspension forum and there are too many options that aren’t specific to my needs.
So sedan guys – I’m trying to slow down on the expense of my addiction (need to start doing more engine stuff soon, so want to be budget conscious for a change)…
I’m currently on Eibach Pros with stock non-sport shocks… I realize coilovers is the best choice (but not the most economical)… So I’m considering performance oriented struts… Tokico D-Spec? KYB? Other?… Good shocks to use with the Eibachs... I’m looking for good cornering handling with reasonable ride comfort…
Vlad? Tim? What do you guys suggest?… What are you on and have had and would you recommend?… And any others that have performance suspension.
I really want to button up all this ancillary stuff and get back to HP & TRQ!

if u got the cash go with koni shocks. If not go with 350z stock shocks with low miles. I had that with my s-techs for two years and they matched each other beautifully.
Koni is ok, but you only have rebound adjustments. I like how the D-spec have compression. But if you want to you can go with TC-Kline. They are pretty expensive, but they have both comp/rebound adjustments.
Here is a link for the tc-kline.

Tein Basic coilovers.
I think with everything you've done so far with your car, you really need to get the stance exactly how you want it.
Basics offer the full height adjustment of a coilover with a set stiffness (none adjustable).
Tim (and myself) unless he's changed, are running Tein CS coilovers which give you both the height and dampner adjustibility but they cost almost twice the price of Basics. What I've learned about this setup is that the stiffness is really soft or hard. There really is no middle of the road. I have mine set to full-hard.
Tein Basics are a little harder than the hardest setting on the CS setup.
If you want something that is more track inspired, thats where the Tein Flex come in.
I said Basics at first cause they are the cheapest of the 3. I say Tein cause thats what I have and have read up on
The moral of the story...coilovers FTW

I'm looking for a set of good shocks as well to match my brand new H&R sport springs 38kmiles on G. I can't spend over $800 on a set of koni yellows and then another $1000 to get the front pair reworked/customized to fit on my X. I read up on the Dspecs, and the fronts on those can't fit either. Looks like I'm stuck with the damn stockers or maybe a set of Z shocks or something.
I'd have to agree with coil overs. Not in relation to the G, but for a 6th gen Accord I had Megan Racing coilovers and on the softest setting, it was close to a stock ride, it was good enough for my gf to be able to drive in it and she is a big time complainer. I've sat in the same 6th gen Accord without a coil over setup and it just didn't compare.
I did some research myself for the G's because I plan to get suspension for it in the future and I'm going to go the route of the Tein coilover dampers. It is a little pricey but you have a G as it is, and I say if you're gonna spend money, do it right.

I know my original post was long... but I did put in there budget conscience... The recent crap I've done to the car ended up 2K+ more than I anticipated
(no, not from the wheels price - in addition to the wheels
)...
Coilovers and BBK might be in the future -but for now I need struts. Something that will work with the Eibachs (for now)...
I guess Dspec are the answer?...

If you are going to replace the shocks in the near future, why not look at Tokico HP? They are more affordable and you can start saving right away for the coilovers. I would go with the ones for the 350z since they are valved for a more aggressive shock and the shortened shocks will more closely match your lowered suspension. KYB also makes an affordable replacement shock for the 350z.
I'd stay away from Tokico HPs. I've blown 2 sets of them in 2 different cars. The coating on the shock body gets scraped up when dirt gets in between the seal and the body. It'll chip and ruin the seals, leaking shock fluid everywhere. That stuff is impossible to remove from wheels, btw.
This doesn't happen with the Tokico Illuminas, though. However, you're coughing up a little more dosh for them. However, they are adjustable...
I don't know about the KYBs, so I can't help you on that one.
