Lowering the G if I swap tires...

I'm kind of at a standstill with my modding at the moment. Everyone says the next step is dropping my 2003 g35 sedan but here's my concern.

Right now I'm on 245/40/19 wheel/tires, this is my summer setup.

Winter setup: I bought some blizzaks in late 2005 which are still good, but these fit on my stock rim, I believe rim/tire size is 215/55/17.

I'm curious how swapping tires and wheels will affect my ride in the winter if I lower my G. Obviously I'm dropping it for my summer setup, but will there be any issues at all with my winter setup at that same drop?

I'm trying to decide if the adjustments I'll have to make (if any) when I swap my wheels for the winter is minimal, or if I should start looking into buying a similar set of wheels/tire for the winter to avoid all of that.

i know the feeling of "what the hell do i do now" with this car man... i'm at this point where i want to do a stereo so badly but i'm really conflicted about it, and i really want to lower it, but i have an X and i'm really nervous about doing that as i don't know anyone nearby with an X that's done it to help out with it... i don't really have any advice for you, just wanted to say you're not alone!

Well if you are worried about the winter months and having your car lowered. You can always go coilovers so you can adjust. Springs you will be stuck at the height you lower.

?

I'm not sure what your question or concen is as you didn't spell it out but there should be no difference or any problems switching between those two lowered or not. Your winter setup is bone stock width and height sizes and what the car was made for.

You're not awd correct? No worries a drop is always the 1st modd on my list regardless unless you plan on plowing through 3 feet of snow.

My concern is that my drop is directly related to my tire/wheel size. Will changing my tires mean I have ot adjust my suspension every summer and winter when I swap?

I still don't understand the question..........

The 245's are 26.71" tall and the 215's are 26.31" tall............Are you asking if you need to adjust your suspension for a .4 (2/5") SMALLER difference when you put on your snow tires?

If so the answer is above....NO YOU WILL NOT.

Yeah bro, your larger wheel diameter is offset by a lower profile tire.

Yea I was basically asking if I have to adjust my suspension when I swap out tires. Sounds like the answer is no, thanks for the help.
