I confirmed today on the 05 sedan if you unlock the car after getting out of it it will lock itself after a minute or so.

 

Same thing happened to me on 05x, car was still running when it locked out.

Went to the dealer & they re-programmed the system so it no longer auto lock,
that was a dumb function they have in the programming.

I always have my wallet key with me just in case, just inc ase the program reset itself.

 

wow who leaves their keys in the car and walk away?

My husband does it all the time and I keep telling him one day your going to come back and it will be gone!
