Under my seat...

Last night I dropped a small Mcdonalds french fry into the G 35 Black Hole (tm)

So as I saw the fry drop in slow motion under the drivers seat...how in the hell am I going to find this thing and get it out - I cant even see it down there with a flash light...oh the humanity!

Re: Under my seat...

I have actually retrieved several items that dropped into the
Black Hole. I discovered that if you move the seat all the
way foreward or backward, you can get your stuff. Not easily,
but it is doable.

Re: Under my seat...

I would try moving the seat fully forward or backward and sticking the vacuum attachment in there and listening for the fry to get sucked up. I had a dime get lost down there and that was my only recourse. Good Luck!!

Re: Under my seat...

i've removed coins from under the driver's seat by moving it all the way up, getting in the back seat, and floundering underneath. just be glad that fry didn't have ketchup on it. good luck.

Yea, NO EATING IN MY G!!!!! I tell my daughter. I hate the
way a french fry stinks the car up when it disappears in the G.

Re: Under my seat...

Moving the seats does work wonders and the 'claw' helps too. See this thread on this issue for a pic:
