Question about high mileage and mods

So I bought my G35 sedan used with about 72k miles on it. The car still runs great and everything and now i am thinking about getting some mods for it (no forced induction) just a cold air intake, spacers, sway bars, headers, exhaust, and some suspension stuff. I really have two questions,
1. Is modding my car at such high mileage going to be bad for it in any way?
and
2. suggestions on what to get for each of these things (I'm going to start with the easy ones cai, sway bar, and spacers)
oh and
3. is http://www.g35parts.com/9083/osc/pro...roducts_id=364
better than a spacer? and is it worth it?

negative, you won't have problems modding a high mileage car.
cai, plenum spacer and sways won't affect your vehicle either, it will help make your car breathe better and perform nice
even force induction you shouldn't be too worried unless you want to hit big boost you will require to strengthen your motor with new parts for longevity.
people correct me if I'm wrong

I'd leave the factory intake; there aren't going to be any significant changes by installing a CAI other than increased engine wear, especially if you're NA

I agree with the above. Nothing to worry about given the mileage.

I also agree with leaving the stock intake. Just get a good drop in filter and swap for a Z-tube for the improved sound effects.

Take a look at Chris' car (G35papa). His is an 03 with over 100k miles on it and it's one of the nicest sedans on the site.

Thanks Chris
117K to be exact and considering turbo

For the mods you've listed, you won't see any issues. Now get to modding

Oh..and I might have a z-tube for sale soon if you are interested

Chris, your car is already one of the sickest around, if you go turbo I can't even imagine....

Next time I'm in the Bay I gotta come by and check out your ride.

sick mate, in that case I'll get to modding :P and I agree that your car is most definitely one of the sweetest cars on here, the bay area is really nice (may end up going to college around that area)
