Extended Warranty

Is it worth to get an extended warranty for my 2005 G35x? Currently have 32k miles with one year left on factory warranty. The warranty will start as soon as I enroll, it this normal?

3/36,000 miles $1010
4/48,000 miles $1457

The price is not bad to have a piece of mine. Another 3 yr for a grand is not bad. Does that include loaners / road side assistance?

Did you contact them regarding the extended warranty or they mail you the quotes?

Wouldn't it be wiser to enroll towards the end of your factory warranty, say like the last month? I have 4+ months on my warranty.

The price will go up if I enroll later. For another 3 years is 1450 as it start as soon as you enroll, the 1000 will only get me two more years.

I contact them about it.

Warranty's usually are a waste of money. If your the type that needs the secure feeling of having a warranty, then go for it. But ask yourself this question would companies offer warranties the way they do if they were losing money on them? Nope, just another way for dealers to make money on you between car purchases.

The extended warranty start as soon as you enroll, so basically on 3/36 it is for 2 years after my warranty expire and the 4/48 is for 3 years. It is kind of expensive, most likely I will pass. I just bought a 8/120k warranty for my pilot for only $1200.

Does the infiniti extended warranty include road side service / loaner cars?

This price is not bad for the piece of mind, but read the consumer research articles at warrantiesgonewild.com and make sure your contract is comprehensive and really worth the money...

Not sure about loaner but Infiniti Elite Extended Warranty covers road side service and car rental reimbursement.

Roadside assistance

Immediate roadside or towing assistance is only a toll-free phone call away, anywhere in the U.S (1.800.662.6200). And if you’re away from home, our trip interruption coverage will help you with lodging, meals, and alternative transportation.
Car rental coverage

If you need alternative transportation while your car is being repaired, you’ll be reimbursed up to $50/day (5-day maximum).

I got this quote from Circle Infiniti, I'm not sure you can get Infiniti Elite warranty from any else other than Infiniti dealers.
