wuts up guys. not that i was really racing tonight, but me and my friend (07 altima 3.5se 6 spd) were foolin around on open road. and i took off early and he still dominated me!! soo not that it matters but i wanna add some power, so wut is of reasonable gain at reasonable money ($100-250) or a lil more. i have a k&n panel filter now. 05 G35x. thanks!
you'll never keep up with his 6 sp. just because ur awd you're losing a lot of power at the front differential. Race him in rain or through twisties and you'll do better. But for 100 250 you could get a plenum spacer. might help a little
i dont wanna beat him. just keep up a lil better. i know my car out wieghs his by alot due to the awd. ever since i traded my 05 altima 3.5 se auto my G feels slower and sluggish compare to that. how much more $$$ we talkin about?

$250 is not gonna cut it. Stillen catback, plenum spacer and stillen hi flow box and you'll beat him.

Be happy in the fact that he's gotta suffer with FWD.
You've already got a nicer car, why do you wanna rub his nose in it by being faster, too?
If you want it to at least be "closer," then start from a dead stop. You will get a couple of cars on him before he gets the front wheels to hook up properly. I dumped a 6-speed Accord to get my G, so I'm familiar with such a comparison.
