Stillen stage III supercharger
Stillen stage III supercharger
Has anybody put this Stillen supercharger on their six speed sedan yet? I am curious about the 1/4 mile times on this. 378 hp with 367 lb-ft seems like this would destroy my transmission.

Re: Stillen stage III supercharger
It will destroy your clutch, but it seems so far this tranny is gonna hold up to 500 hp without any modifications. 350's are putting down 450 whp with no problems other than clutch disintegration
the AT on the other hand is only gonna be good for around 350 crank hp without some moderate mods.
This is a good supercharger for "down low" power. Personally I would like my power to be above 4000 rpm (i.e. Vortech V-2), so I can get good gas mileage around town and not be too bad on my tires when driving normally.
Vortech can get to around 380 whp and about 330 rear wheel torque but its power is all above 3000 rpm
Better Life thru Chemistry
Black on Black 03.5 Sedan 6MT - Goodyear F1 GS-D3's 225/55/17, Custom Intake Tube, HyperGround Kit, Magnaflow resonator.

Re: Stillen stage III supercharger
After reading your post, I went to Stillens website to check it out. Low and behold, they're now offering their SC units for the AT Sedan as well. It does note that for Stage 3 it will void the warranty and it's not CARB legal. However, for Stage 2 they will offer a warranty and its CARB legal.
One thing i'd like to know is - are the HP and TQ numbers that Stillen posted at the crank or at the wheels?
