Does anyone here have any knowledge of how debadging a G would affect trade-in or resale value? Would it have any negative effect? I would guess that if you are trading it in at an Infiniti dealer, the answer would be yes.

Any thoughts?

 

You could always just buy new lettering/emblems and put it back on when you sell it. Just a thought.

When your lease is up, and if you get another Infiniti, I guarentee they won't even mention it. What did you debadge?

Infiniti_Mike: I would not be so sure about that. Debadging is not considered a "normal wear and tear" item. Some of the lease guys can be real bastards, especially if you don't get another Infiniti.

All these "re-posts" about de-badging....I traded in my sedan lease..and no it didn't effect the lease value...It's only a $20.00 part to replace the words INFINITI and another $10-$20 for the G35 emblems...
