I bought the car last night after taking it to Infiniti for an inspection. I feel good about the purchase and think I got a good deal even if they wouldn't negotiate on the deal. I tried to get them to throw in a spoiler or bring it down a few hundred but they would not budge. I think they probably realized they had their buyer. Ooops :-). At least I got them to fill the gas tank up before I left. They were reluctant to even do that. But, their internet price was priced well below their sticker which was $23,000. I did a cars.com search for manual transmission G35's within an 250 mile radius and the only other one that turned up was in New Jersey which would be about a 3 hour drive from me. So, I am happy that this one turned up only 20 minutes from my house.

I brought up the point about the clutch being a wear item and not covered under factory warranty. The answer was that apparantly the manager likes to drive the G35 MTs when they come in and the clutch was really bad when they bought it from auction. Somehow he has some pull with the Infiniti dealer and he fought to have them cover the work under warranty.

So, now I have to figure out what I want to do first to personalize it a bit. I'm thinking it needs window tint, but not sure how dark to go...

Thanks guys for all you responses. Glad to be apart of the G35 gang

if you drive a manual and need an indicator ... well, you probably shouldn't be driving a manual.
Haha, well what I asked was sort of a rhetorical question; obviously there's a valid reason why the clusters are different on the MT and AT.
