Well, everything is now installed and it sounds awesome ^^ and i can even notice a slight bump in power around 3-4k revs. I'm also still lovin' my clear corners and excited to order either sway bars, or lowering springs next, heres essentially what I can offer after putting on an intake and spacer,
1. http://www.infinitihelp.com/diy/gsed...er_install.htm
That DIY video is amazingly helpful, its really nice to know where you are going when installing the spacer and I would recommend anyone interested in installing one yourself carefully looking over it
2. Realizing how the snap things holding on the battery cover and parts of the intake come off... you first pull the middle part up, then the bottom, don't just snap them out ...i may have broken a few >< (on that note anyone know if there are any replacements out there for those, also while working on my engine i noticed i dont have a cover for my right side any place i could get that too?)
3. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY
4. When installing the z-tube part of the intake, you need to take off the rubber(?) connectors off the stock intake, seems pretty self explanitory but its not in the Stillen instructions
5. Inch-lb torque wrenches between 25-250 in/lbs can be found at SEARS! for about $70, it took me FOREVER to find one, I looked at all our local auto shops and Home Depot's and Lowes, sigh
Finally
6. These mods are relatively easy to do (bout 2 hrs for intake if you don't know what your doing at first and 3ish for the spacer taking your time and you will want to take your time) but it is always nice to have someone else around to at least spot check you, and hold stuff for you (talking about mainly for the spacer install) so i would suggest having a friend (or dad in my case) come over when you do install your stuff.
Anyways here are some pics from the install:
Engine w/o intake
Parts for CAI
open engine (manifold?) ish in process of putting in spacer
Screwing on the top of the engine (manifold?)
Finished Engine
Me and Mah g (it was bright out, and hot in Tx ><)
well thats all for now, next on my list of mods to eventually get(and i do mean eventually some of these will come MUCH sooner than others heh):
Stillen Sway bars
(maybe)Coupe midpipe
Stillen Gen 2 Catback Exhaust
Tein Basic Coilovers
Tein lowering Springs
Nismo Aero kit
Rims! (open to suggestions)
DC Headers
Big Brake Kit (AP racing?)
heh and lastly I'd love to be able to afford twins some day ^^
anyways peace ya'll

Check with Riverside Infiniti for the plastic things. I think they sell them on ebay. Otherwise PM one of them, I can't remember which one to PM.
Sways for performance
Springs for looks and some performance if you get the right ones
The G looks 10 times better after being lowered about an inch.

Umm yea that sounded really gay
As far as springs or sways. Id just save up the extra 300 and do them at the same time. I got unrevised z springs for 55 bucks shipped. Then got some Dspects to go with them. Ride is great

Thanks for the pics and updates. It looks like everything went well. Any thoughts in hindsight, now that you've driven around for a few days? Still notice the pep? How about the difference in sound?
I'm still doing my research. I'm looking at z-tube/K&N vs. z-tube/Stillen, or whether any combo of the two is really worth it. Also, I'm planning on the 5/16 iso thermal spacer and a grounding kit. My corners arrive tomorrow. I've decided to leave the brakes and exhaust alone, and leave the headlights and tailights stock. I won't do anything else to the heigth; it's been lowered a little (I keep meaning to ask the mechanic to see what he can tell about suspension mods). I may add sways and might move up to 18s some time, but those are a low priority and I'd need to research alot more.
I'm not a big modder, but these cars are so fun, it seems a shame not to get a few more HP out of them. I'm also trying to look at resale considerations, so I have no plans to do any "heavy" mods.
Keep us updated on your progress.
