When dyno'd on a G35 sedan by super street magazine they got a 7hp gain and 5ft now here's the but part,.......that's WITH a Dc Sports header installed at the same time! They dyno'd the car with a AEM CAI first and that gained 7hp and 3ft.
Now, in all fairness, Sports compact car dyno'd Nismo parts and only got 10hp, which I know for a fact the Nismo header alone make's more than that. So take it with a big grain of salt.

The Dc Sports exhaust uses twin canister mufflers side by side (just like I did). Pipe diameter looks like 60mm. The system is like the Injen coupe and Z system in that it does not have a H or X crossover. I could not see any pics of the resonator's on the system, magazine did not show them.

All this is in the June Super Street issue.

Yup, looks like a nice exhaust, I would like to see the non-prototype and pipe diameters.... Oh, and the price too.

Stillen claims over 20HP. I would be interseted to see some dyno's of both.

Wait one minute, I reread the article.

The AEM dyno gains remain, at 7hp and 3ft.

But they actually got 14hp and 5ft from the Dc Sports headers and the DC Sports true dual exhaust.

I would have simply edited my previous post, but the system timed out on editing.

Re: Dc Sport's true dual coming,...but
Dyno's done by members on the Stillen don't come anywhere near Stillen's claim, but I'm sure Dc Sports will comeout with a simular unfounded claim, as Injen does with their coupe/Z exhaust. A common trend that is quickly exposed when a owner dyno's on their own.

But still, I'll place money on the Stillen making more power. But,..........at what $ cost. I'll bet the Dc Sports will be priced at or below the Borla (which currently streets for $650 shipped).

Their headers are pretty cheap too, you could probably get the headers and exhaust for around $1000.

HMMM.....Oky....
If all those companies' claim for HP gain is not true...can anyone tell me whats the best header+true duel combination with Nismo CAI?
Is Nismo header better then stillen and DC's ?

Re: Dc Sport's true dual coming,...but
Headers in order of power production from continued following of post's done on my350z.com over the last year.

Xerd (long tube cat-less design, but how much would the others make if you run them with high flow cats?)
Crawford
Nismo

No independent dyno has been done on a Stillen or Dc Sport header yet, so their real power production is up in the air. The one dyno done on the DC Sports was done by the guy that Dc Sports sponcered for fitment testing, not a independent source and he never posted the actual dyno, not falling for that. Would have been nice if Super street would have dyno'd just the Dc Sports headers alone, not in combo with their exhaust system on that sedan.

Here's a dyno of the Nismo header, notice the how they make more power over a wide area of the rev band, not just a tiny spot near redline. +12hp +9ft Dyno'd car was stock, only headers were added.

My vote would be to buy the Nismo headers directly from the source that actually makes them for Nismo, and save a ton of cash. $795 vs $1125. They are made by BRM Here's a link to buy them. http://www.brmusa.com/headers.htm
