Question Help Me Find: Aftermarket Reinforce Underbody Skid plate

I need you guys to point me in the right direction.

I recently lowered my G35x sedan.
Everytime I go over high and long speed bumps, i will scrape the "middle" underbody (the area between the front wheels and rear wheels).

Does anyone know if there is any aftermarket reinforce underbody skidplate available?

Or I need to DIY my own skidplate?

Please help me!

Thanks in advance!

But that is just for the front not for the middle of the car.

if it's your G like you say in the OP, tell your dad to stop bashing up the underside or stop driving it. richmond has lots of parking lot speed bumps, but he's going to have to modify his driving style to suit. anybody can drive at an angle over bumps, it takes no special skill. teach him the simple technique if necessary...

i thought the arc "skid" plate was just to improve aerodynamicy at high speeds?
i mean look at the 4X4's that do rock climbing, they put 1/4 to a 1" of steal plate to protect the underbelly. if u look under your car and ur dad is scraping the middle, you should be fine. no lines or driveshaft in the way, but if u put on a 1/4" steal plate that will add weight and rob mpg, check were it grinds first, if its not scraping anything eles but the unibody u should be fine, just my 2 cents

It's going to rust if it gets scrapped.

There is nothing on the market for the middle-area. You are going to have to go custom.

Or just buy your own car so you are the primary driver and this way you will make sure the car doesn't get scraped. I don't get how its your car but your dad is the primary driver... Are you modding your dad's car?

+1

Ultimately, it's your decision, but I would save the money on modding your dad's car, so you can buy your own (or buy the G off your dad). Then, you can mod it however you want and wouldn't have to worry about scuffing the underbody over bumps.
