New to the forums!

Hi everyone,

I just bought a 2004 G35 Sedan in the Dark Blue (does anyone know the actual color?) color used from a dealership. I've been doing a lot of reading on this forum as it seems like it is the one with most information available. So far, I've come to the conclusion that I might want to "mod" my car fairly lightly. Here is what I found:

1.) I would like to get a Nismo Aero or Factory Kit.
-Does the 2005 Sedan Lip Spoilers fit directly on to my 2004?

2.) 05-06 Taillights Plug-n-play into my 04.

3.) I would like a rear trunk lid spoiler, but the ones like the M3 ones all seem too little. I see that the factory wing spoiler is attached to the trunk lid, does this mean I need to drill holes?

These are all the questions/concerns I have for right now. I am truly happy with my purchase! I must say this car is truly a dream to drive. Thanks for any help in advance!!

-Brian

Brian Welcome to the forum.
The dark blue colour of your car is probably Twilight Blue.

The 05 OEM lip will not fit the 03/04 bumper. You can get the Nismo bumper which looks awesome.

The factory rear spoiler does require drilling.
There are other spoilers available.

Congrats on the new ride and welcome to the forums!

1. The 05-06 Sedan OEM front lip will not fit an 03-04 Sedan unless you have the Nismo Kit, then it will fit with some modification.

2. Yes they are direct plug and play.

3. Yes you need to drill holes to install an OEM spoiler

Check out this thread for the FAQ related to Sedans.

Thank you for the quick replies! Does anyone have a collection of nicely modded sedans I can maybe get some ideas from?

#3 - Yes, you have to drill holes with the oem style spoiler.
