Re: Crawford Strut Bar

No, reason being it's not possible, Nissan choose not to bless the G35 with the required welded on mounts, mounts that spread shear loads in a way that is superior to just trying to apply loading to the strut tower bolts. Any time a strut tower bar is listed for a G35 by the aftermarket, it is by mistake. Best thing to do is to email Crawford a request that they create weldable mounts for us, bug them if you know what I mean.

Here is a study I did on the topic, I specially labeled the thread to make is easy for people to run a search and find on their own. SEARCH+strut tower bar,........and it comes right up.

Re: Crawford Strut Bar

I spoke with Doug two weeks ago and he is not going to be making the strut brace for the G35. He said it wouldn't make much differnce anyway and to get some Hotchkis. Which I am doing for various reasons anyway.

Re: Crawford Strut Bar

I would really like a strut bar though...because when i start up the engine...it moves the whole car and i can feel it on the seats too. I dont want it to hit my CAI then the CAI will touch the A/c for sure... >_<||| if it brokes....im in trouble~

Re: Crawford Strut Bar

strut bar won't help you with that anyway. strut bars keep the suspension components(shocks/springs) in the correct alignment with the ground so it can do it's job as best as possible. it achieves this by mitigating body flex. an engine brace is what you really want. i thought i saw somebody selling that on ebay.
