Got a 2003 sedan. I was poking around the car the other day and came across a switch in my glove box (that I've only opened twice since ownership).

I've been trying to figure this out for the past few days: what the he!! does it do?!

Thanks!

doesn't it lock out the trunk locking mechanism so that it can't be opened for like valet and stuff

It disables the trunk switch in the car as well as the one outside. You can only use the remote to open it.
