OK, this one has been done to death, but I'm compelled to add one more comment. I own three "performance" vehicles. an '04 6MT G35 sedan (stock), a C5 Corvette with a 427 cubic inch LS6 engine based on the C5R race block (528 HP at the rear wheels), and an '04 Kawasaki ZX10R sportbike (almost stock). The bike will absolutely humble the G35 and beat the 'Vette by what I'd guess to be 8-10 car lengths in a quarter mile run. it might be a little closer from an 80 mph roll, but I'd still bet on the bike by a wide margin to 150 or 160. I know that there are 800 RWHP cars out there that might run with my litttle green motorbike, but they've invested at least 10X the price for their moment of glory.

 

'Gotta agree... Generally speaking, it's best to leave the motorcycles - especially sportbikes - alone... They can easily better the best times & speeds of almost all cars - and do it at a third or less of the cost (MSRP).
It's really an "apples & oranges" thing.
