When I hit the trunk button in my G, the trunk doesn't pop up like it did in my old I30. It looks like it didn't open. It is also harder manually open then my old car. Is it supposed to be like that?

I’ve never had an I30, but my trunk opens just enough to slide my finger under and open it. I like it ‘cause if I accidentally pop the trunk, it’s not noticeable to others, just to me.

Actually, I prefer the way the trunk release is on my G35, it's harder to pop open, on my last car, Mustang GT, I would come out sometimes and the trunk would be slightly open, like I bumped the fob against something in my pocket.
