You run into a lot of fitment issues when you buy replica/imitation body kits. If you're not doing the install yourself you have to pay extra for them to do things like drill holes to make the bumper fit properly. Labor depends on where you go, look up your local body shops and ask them for a quote.

+1000 to what everyone else has said.

Others have had fitment issues with the replica and they don't come painted.

Nismo kit comes painted and fits perfect, you can actually put it on yourself. If you cant get the whole kit, get the front, then sides, then rear.

By the time you buy the cheap replicas, have them fitted properly (because they won't at first) and have them permanently mounted and paintly you will wish you went with the Nismo in the first place which is made to fit and prepainted to match your factory color. If you cut corner with a cheap paint shop enjoy having poor matching sh!tty looking paint on your cheap kit. Not to mention fiberglass will crack and look like **** the moment you hit something versus polyeurothane which is flexibe.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-O...mZ270269909794 here you go man. I got mine from him back in the summer for 750 shipped. I was the first one to buy a kit off him so thats why it was so much cheaper. Still, he is selling it at a crazy deal. Great guy and easy to deal with. Enjoy

EDIT: http://shop.ebay.com/merchant/emgeep...=g35&_osacat=0 This is a link to all the parts being sold seperatly by the same seller

^ yep thats the same guy i bought it from. his parts are extremely cheap, and if you get lucky, he'll have your color every now and then, but he mostly has garnet fire and carribean blue stuff. he ships extremely fast as well.

I am truly happy for the lucky buyer of that kit. If it was desert platinum - I would have bought it.

Are these kits available anywhere for less - unpainted? Where could I get one in desert platinum?

oh yea i've also noticed he doens't put like "side skirts " or "front bumper" in his titles, thats why its so hard for people to search for him plus its in the buy it now sections. to find his nismo side skirts i put in "g35 rocker"

Bro listen. I understand we all want to save every penny we can in every place we can, but you can't go cheap, especially on a 30k+ car. If you want your car to look good.. got to go OEM and pay the price. Only way you'll be satisfied and not go through all the heart ache and troubles of aftermarket parts. I say spend the money and get it painted. I've seen some g's on here done up with aftermarket parts and poor fitment and it's just not my cup of tea.

BTW, there was a thread posted not to long ago on the VIS nismo/aero replica kit for the sedan you posted in the first post. He started a thread on the kit and reviewed it. He had to go through a LOT of modification to get it to fit right and even said in the end he wished he went OEM.

Side skirts are actually called rocker moldings. not side skirts. The titles he uses are the correct automotive terms
