Weighed my 03 sedan 5AT
Today I was doing some work at a Fed-Ex terminal and we were working right next to a scale. It was a one axle scale. My car is a fully loaded 03 5AT sedan with the Aero kit. Extra weight in the car included me (~180lbs), two child seats (20lbs), 60lbs of tools/gear and a 30lb cooler in the trunk, all weather floor mats (21lbs), and aftermarket 18" wheels (+12lbs). The car was filled up just before entering the property (152lbs).
Front axle - 1920lbs (51%)
Rear axle - 1840lbs (49%)
Total weight - 3,760lbs
Without me, the extra gear, or the aftermarket rims, the weight with full tank of fuel comes in at 3,440lbs. At the strip, I run with a 1/4 tank of fuel (-105lbs) and no spare (30lbs). That would bring the race weight into the 3,300lbs range. I tested the scale by weighing myself and it said 180lbs which is spot on.

theres a truck scale in my area that we weigh at and my car weighed 3500lbs, without me and with 1/4 tank of gas. This scale rounds the the nearest 10lbs. So +/- 10lbs, 3500lbs for a fully loaded stock 2005 5AT, not too bad.
weighed mine a couple weeks ago... 1/4 tank gas with everything in the car (except me): spare, jack, all floor mats, 3 trunk mats (bottom, b-quiet, top) big torque wrench, detail product box (maybe 50lbs of stuff all together)
Car weighed 3380 - most scales read in 20lb increments and round to the closest 20lbs - so it could be as much as 3390 in reality (or 3381) - not bad for having 19" wheels
with everything out I could get it down to 3340 or less... I'll weigh it again some day with everything out

Wow, I expected to see higher numbers. I taked to a coupe guy who weighed his car at the track the other day and it was ~3850lbs. That's a coupe with kuruma z bumper, 19" volks, no back seat or spare, TN turbo kit and him ~200lbs.

The sidewalls of the 17" profile is taller so there isnt much weight savings - I went with Toyo T1R specifically because it was one of the lightest I could find... unfortunately they have been reported to have a soft sidewall (that might be why they are lighter than what you have found most to be)... I havent noticed any negative handling characteristics from these tires though.

Speaking of which, I replaced OEM A-Arms (which are REALLLY light! With SPL - WAYYY Heavier... but the rotors I'm using are lighter than OEM so that helps.
3300 is incredibly light (for our car) - I'm interested to know what tricks (if any) you did...
