Just bought a new G35x!!!

Just bought a new G35x, 2005, completely loaded!!! Black on black, 39k miles!!! I'm so excited, they're having the Infiniti deal do some warranty work (Bought at Acura dealer...the 'Brake' idiot light stays illimunated for some weird reason at all times). Pick it up tomorrow assuming everything goes well with the fix.

I do have a question though.....anyone had to buy the key replacement that slides into the wireless remote that started the car? They have the wireless remote, which is sweet, but the backup key that normally slides into it is actually missing. I figure I can just go get one at Infiniti, but wondering if anyone knows how much that costs....

Other than that, I'm pretty excited....havent decided what the first things I'm going to do to it are.....tint....ipod adapter...cold air intake.....heh

congrats and enjoy your new ride. It's probab;y not exactly how you wanted to start off in your new ride (warranty work). The Acura dealer should have had that squared away since they took the car in, I bet they were just hoping that some unsuspecting customer would have bought it just like that making it their problem now. Glad you noticed it.

Hope Infiniti takes care of it so you get to do what we do best.

Go on ebay and get a new I-Key with an uncut key for it. Match up the FCC id numbers. It will cost about $30 for the IKEY on ebay and probably $50 at the dealer to program it.

Been drivin my 05 G35x for a few weeks now and it is great. We have had some nasty weather, and the awd is fantastic. On dry pavement, I'd be happier being 300 lbs lighter, but when it is wet - it pays for itself many times over.
