To be honest, I would be happier with the car you have now. I wouldn't consider that trade. I personally do not like what he has done to the car, and you know it wasn't ran smooth. Seems fishy why he would want to trade his car in for yours, plus cash on the side. I don't see how he invested more than 7,000 in the car with those mods. And that shouldn't even matter. You are basically buying the car, the mods will not make the car worth more in many other peoples eyes.

Yeah I don't think I'd go for that either. If it was a stock coupe I may consider it, but not in the condition it is now.

Dont be a dumbass.

Your car is 2 years newer, you know where its been and its a sedan.

This thing might have problems, been beat on, ect.

Thanks for all the valuable suggestions guys.. I'll look at the car some time next week and if the condition is good, I'll ask for a straight trade (-minus his wheels). What about that?

I wouldn't even make a trade where he gives you cash. The car has some ghetto mods and was most likely abused.

i'd do a straigth trade if it was year to year, mileage to mileage, and mod to mod.

No way you'd throw in cash for those ghetto mods and a car that is 2 years older.
