Finally Broken In....
Finally Broken In....
So I took my sedan out to the desert and gave it the gas. Empty sections of highway doing 120mph. Averaged about 90 mph, (and still averaged about 22MPG), it was great. It was also nice having some people in Lake Havasu take note of the car and give it some admiring looks. I live in Palm Springs and unless you're in the newest Rolls or an Enzo nobody notices your ride. Even S600s and Porche GT3s hardly get a look.

22 mpg is nice during this price gouging we're seeing at the pumps. What's a gallon of 91 octane going for down there? I can find it for about $2.50 up here in Nor Cal.
Re: Finally Broken In....
91 octane here in Palm Desert is going for $2.69. BTW on that trip I paid a whopping $3.29 in Amboy because I wanted to make sure I didn't run out of gas in the desert. Twenty bucks bought me a bit more than 5 gallons

Re: Finally Broken In....
Gas prices are certainly getting pretty high here in CA. Too bad that CA makes the gas even more expensive here due to the stricter environmental rules. I'm just hoping that it stays below $3 / gal. this summer time.
