05 G35X.... scraping sound

I recently purchased a G35X and the other night I was on the highway and I heard a scraping sound coming from the drivers side. I pulled over and didnt see anything that caught my eye. I got back in the car, and I didnt hear the sound again. Well late last night I heard it a few times. What could this sound be, when I hit the brakes it seems to dissappear, and then come back.
New to the site, so Im looking around for help
thanks
tino

Check your brake pads. Could be wearing low and the wear indicators are starting to hit the rotor. They usually make a high pitched sound though.

You might want to check under the front bumper and see if the black protector shield came loose. A number of us have encountered that while driving, and most of the time this shield comes loose from broken or lost clips with the front bumper.

You'r caliper might be seized, basically causing it to lock on your disc's, or possibly something loose scraping...

yeah check to see if you skid plate is loose... it has a lot of screws...and kinda blocks the oil pan bolt... a lazy tech doing an oil change might of not screwed it all the way back in....

i would check our brakes also like someone else said...
