40k miles

So i just got my oil changed at 39500 miles and i just hit 40,000 miles today. What im wondering is, should i just wait untill my next oil change, to do my 40k check up, also what exactly is involved in the 40k check up?

i bought my car used about 2 months ago, it was salavaged and has a rebuilt title(dont comment on this please i know the risks haha) should i take everything a step further and change any stuff that would be changed in a later period of time just to be on the safe side? i dont want to have any problems later down the road so id be willing to pay a little extra.

Thanks,
Mike

You can change all your fluids, Trans, Front and Rear diff and if you feel like it even the coolant. It never hurts to change them early. Especially not knowing the complete history of the vehicle. ITs probably a good time to check your cabin filter as well. I think that about covers it.

If you tell us what it was salvaged for, we might be of greater help. For example, if water got in the cabin, or it was rolled, or the front end suffered damage but was rebuilt by a body shop, etc. Armed with this, we can give you a much better idea of what else to look for.
