^^^ ????

most of the list is actually pretty good... Granted its all typical stuff that most of us have done anyway.

I am fully modded (I'm certain more so than you) but I think the list is good.

Wow... Yea, my car is stock as hell... so did you want a cookie or something?

These aren't mods... more like rice.
I can see these "mods" on a Honda Civic with APC, Super Street and Nike stickers everywhere.

3. Windshield visor tint
8. tinted rear spoiler light
9. painted oem grill
10. G35driver decals (not a mod either...but yea x2)
11. polished bolts around plenum (about $25-30)
13. Painted oem headlights
14. Painted oem engine cover
17. Nismo oil filler cap (knock off ones)
19 Painted rotors/calipers? (about $35)
21. ebay 6000k HIDs
22. Red LED in reverse light housing (while not in reverse)
27. Blue Batmans Overlays - Each piece or set is usually under 40 bucks.
30. Home Depot Lip Less than $25
31. Refinish your stock wheels, maybe $40 -$50
33. ebay Nismo Valve Stems

Did you guys forget to rattle spray your OEM wheels?

I can see these "mods" on a Honda Civic with APC, Super Street and Nike stickers everywhere.

3. Windshield visor tint - stock (even in your car)8. tinted rear spoiler light - why is this rice? 9. painted oem grill - not rice at all
10. G35driver decals (not a mod either...but yea x2)
11. polished bolts around plenum (about $25-30) - standard engine dress up, nothing rice about it
13. Painted oem headlights - looks WAY better than your stock ugly, not rice.
14. Painted oem engine cover - my 1/2 cover is custom shaped and painted, not rice at all
17. Nismo oil filler cap (knock off ones) - why is this rice? nismo is too common so I got a Tomei cap and had it black chromed (let me guess, thats rice)
19 Painted rotors/calipers? (about $35) - what the hell is rice about that??? Looks 100% better than stock ugly.
21. ebay 6000k HIDs
22. Red LED in reverse light housing (while not in reverse) - again, what is rice about this??? It fills out the trunk space and flows way better than stock ugly.
27. Blue Batmans Overlays - Each piece or set is usually under 40 bucks. - again, looks better than stock - not rice
30. Home Depot Lip Less than $25 - this one is questionable
31. Refinish your stock wheels, maybe $40 -$50 - nothing wrong with making them look better
33. ebay Nismo Valve Stems - I have anti theft Infiniti logo covers painted, but same concept and not rice?

Nope - these are my wheels (they only thing painted is the center cap edge, and that was professionally done)

So - you seem to think you know the difference between a good looking car and a "riced-out" car... how about posting pics of your masterpiece.

My "masterpiece" looks stock... with OEM wheels and all! Working parts are a different story... imagine a stock G dropped with an exhaust... that's how my G looks.

hmmmm - I wonder why you are in this thread

If you like your stock car that’s fine... most of us that mod enjoy making our cars unique and in many cases better... But I don’t see the relevance of a stock car owner making derogatory statements about worthwhile mods... many of the mods on the list are very basic and standard minor mods that some of the nicest looking Gs on this forum have.

Maybe a good idea would be mod your car a bit (or a lot) and let us all see what you’ve done… I think your negative comments will have more clout that way… as of now, I don’t see how anyone would take you serious.

refinished my rims and calipers for under 40 dollars. Brakes and wheels are all rattle canned clear coated and everything. Trust me this is not rice. I have people ask me how much I paid to get this done when i did it all myself in a day for under 40 dollars. With the amount of layers i put of clear coat on and layers of paint under neath I am not worried at all about chipping or peeling. Even the feeling of these rims are outstanding smooth almost feels like I did pay to get them done for over 100 dollars.

like the blue ta look. i think that the rattle can job as dofu called it can actually look good, it's all a matter of prep. in fact, i'm pretty sure the only thing i definitively agree with him about is the home depot lip. it doesn't look bad, its just barely visible, so i dont see the point in it. fwiw though, i think ocg35 has a valid point. dofu has no place in this thread.

just painted the calipers 2d, looks great, costed about 7 bucks for the special brembo red caliper paint, all i did was lift, put down newpaper on the surrounding exterior, pipes, rotor, and pads, and sprayed away, took about 20 minutes for the first tire and then less then 10 cuz you know what your doing better.

and i also de-badged 2d, it looks alot cleaner and cooler.
