Maybe headers, they should compliment your other mods, especially after a tune. But if you factor in the cost of the headers, the cost of install, then add the cost of your tune --- you're close to the cost of a used Vortech.

yea thats why i dont wanna get headers. the only way i would get headers would be if someone would be selling them for super cheap, which is unlikely.

How many miles are on your car? Might want to change the spark plugs and just make sure everything is in good shape before the tune.

You should wait until you go FI or if you plan on going on the bottle, otherwise it's just a waste of money. That's just my opinion though.

I have seen some people get 10hp from a good tune. If you plan to stay NA that is a good gain for the $.

I do agree that nothing compares to boost for these motors but it's not for everyone.

That's very true, I guess if you are planning on just staying NA with those mods you have, a tune would be good, but we all know it never stops at just an intake and exhaust, it goes way beyond that with these cars

Is the only way to tune the car via a piggyback/stand alone system...?

If yes, why can't the ECU itself just be reprogrammed when hooked up to the dyno?
