I don't want an alarm, or another remote fob. I just want my i-key to also have the ability to remote start if i press two buttons simultaneously or something.
wel then im the guy to talk to, i know theres a 1/1 pulse when you hit lock on the OEM remote so you can set the alarm to accept pulses i would set mine for 4 pulses so if i hit lock 4 times the car will start the engine.

if you dont want an alarm then you can get a remote start module and just have the remote start and use OEM alarm

Just be a little wary about the I-key start. I haven't done one yet, but my buddy at another shop has. He said it has to be wired kinda like a prius. He did one in nissan altima I believe and the customer, older lady, came back a few weeks later since she did not understand the take over or something weird. Maybe just an older non-technical person who could never grasp the way it works.

what do you mean like a prius? when i do the install it will be solve as i come to a problem type thing, so any warnings ahead of time will be cool. Im no noob when it comes to this so dontthink you're wasting your time. I wired my BMW to have the top go up and down with the oem key, and that cars k-bus didnt put out a 1/1 pulse lmao that was the hard part.

If you can get your hands on the directechs on this it has ALOT of notes. I believe you have to get multiple wires under the hood for the relay pack. Get a copy. Read, re-read, and then re-read again.
