Wouldnt you get the 2.25 one because thats the width of our midpipe? (05/06 Sedans)

Correct. You'd want the input and output to match the mid pipe.

How much would this cost to be replaced? Without the cost of the new resonator

Yeah that’s all good, I was just mentioning that the sound won't quite be the same as in the video. It might still sound good, just not the same.

Is it just me or is there not that much of a difference between the two. Maybe if i heard it in person, but I don't think it's significant enough that I would spend the money to get this done.

That is a very good comparo video between the stock and coupe midpipes on a 05-06 sedan. Very little difference in sound if any. Most here have said before it's not worth it to get the coupe middy if you have a 05-06 sedan, but a big difference for the 03-04 sedan since it has a different muffler design.

I agree, there's hardly any difference The coupe midpipe has an ever so slight growl on initial throttle tip-in and as the rpms drop off throttle, but overall the difference is very minimal. If these 05/06 owners really want some more volume they need the 03/04 mufflers and possibly the HR y-pipe.

Judging from the video comparison, I still say the coupe mid pipe sounds a lot throatier and more aggressive. It's more of an exhaust tone, versus the sedan mid pipe which just sounds dull.

isn't there a weight difference of 10lbs or something along those lines? i can hear a slight more throaty noise but thats about it.

i like how the coupe mid pipe sounds with the 05+ muffler. my coupe mid pipe doesn't sound as growly with the 03-04 muffler.

I am going to throw my 05+ muffler on there when i install my HR Y-pipe (just got one).

My setup is going to be HR Y pipe + coupe mid pipe + 05+ sedan muffler

I think i am going to try this setup:
HR Y-pipes, stock 06 sedan midpipe w/ a new smaller resonator, HKS sport muffler

Should have it done by next month hopefully.
