Went Back to Stock Airbox

After reading some comments on here about after market intakes, I decided to switch back to my stock airbox with an Amsoil Nanofilter drop-in. I did notice a little torque was gained back and the stock airbox is completely enclosed from engine heat.

Anyone want to buy my Stillen CAI??

Get the 06 RevUp airbox (~$90) and you'll get even snappier performance.

I agree with this. I went from the stillen to fujita intake back to the stock. Stock had best airflow and performance to me. Only thing I would do is add a K&N filter and z tube.

Just bought a rev-up airbox. I am hoping I can feel a difference.

Yes, let us know and can you post pics showing the difference b/t the stock and the revup box?

From what I can gather, the stock box or revup box(with K&N) + z tube is the best combo?

Is it worth me getting the z tube or is it just a sound enhancement with no airflow benefits?

thx

btw--where can I buy a revup box?

I thought the z-tube completely replaces the stock airbox??

no, you can run z tube with stock airbox or mate it to a JWT-pop charger filter. You can read here, which actually helped answer my quetions as well. It looks like stock airbox/filter with z-tube is the best combination of performance and airflow.

The Z-tube replaces the G-tube and runs from the throttle body into the factory air box which houses the filter.
